Fried peppers with capers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g roasting peppers (very small bell pepper(s))
  • 3 tbsp capers
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Aceto balsamico, dark
  • e.g. olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry the peppers until well browned. Then remove them. Fry the capers until they burst. Return the peppers to the pan and add the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. No salt is necessary. Serve hot or cold with a BBQ.
