Fried rice with turkey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bunch basil or parsley
  • 3 spring onions
  • Chicken broth
  • 400 g turkey breast
  • 240 g rice (raw weight)
  • Salt
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 pieces ginger, walnut-sized
  • 5 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the rice in about twice the amount of chicken stock until tender and allow to evaporate. Peel and finely grate the ginger. Cut the turkey into strips and mix with the ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt. Let stand. Wash and slice the spring onions. Wash and chop the basil. Heat a pan, add a little oil, and briefly fry the spring onions. Add the marinated meat and fry, stirring constantly. Remove the cooked meat, add a little more oil to the pan, and fry the rice. Mix in the meat and basil, season to taste, and serve immediately.
