Fried Tofu with Plums and Pine Nuts
The perfect fried tofu with plums and pine nuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 piece Tofu
- 5 Plums
- Pine nuts
- Salt
- Pepper
- 0,25 Butternut squash
- Thyme
- Clove of garlic
- Marjoram
- Olive oil
- Basil
- Soak the tofu for at least 2 hours. For this I mixed olive oil, basil, a clove of garlic, marjoram and thyme in a bowl and put the tofu there and smeared it with the oil mixture every now and then.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and heat the oil mixture in which the tofu was placed in the pan. Now add the pumpkin cut into strips and fry well. If you don’t like pumpkin, you can replace it with any other vegetable.
- Toast a handful of pine nuts without oil in another pan. Be careful not to burn the pine nuts, which can be done very quickly – put the finished pine nuts aside.
- Once the pumpkin has been fried and almost done, add the tofu and fry well. Now add the plum halves for a few minutes – done 🙂
- I served the tofu on a bed of lamb’s lettuce. Now place the pumpkin strips on the lamb’s lettuce, place the tofu pieces on top and sprinkle with pine nuts and add the plum halves.
