Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g white cabbage
- 4 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 chili pepper(s), dried
- 1 bay leaf, dried
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 100 ml water, possibly more
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin, ground
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt

Quarter the cabbage, remove the stalk, and cut the cabbage into strips. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the chili pepper and bay leaf and roast over medium heat until the chili pepper turns dark red and puffs up, and the bay leaf is browned. Then add the cabbage and sauté for a few minutes. Add the tomato paste, water, spices, and salt, mix well, and cook with the lid on over low heat for 10-15 minutes, until the cabbage is tender. Be careful not to burn, and add a little more water if necessary.
