Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 large zucchini
- some olive oil
- 1 tbsp marjoram
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
as a starter or side dish to grilled or roasted meat
Wash the zucchini and cut into 0.5-1cm thick slices. Place the slices on a large plate and season on both sides with salt, pepper, marjoram, and thyme. Peel the garlic cloves and slice them into thin sticks. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and fry the garlic sticks. Add the zucchini slices and fry until al dente. Serve with garlic or herb sauce and white bread, or with roasted or grilled meat.
