Fried Zucchini Slices with Tartarska Omacka

Ingredients
 

Fried zucchini slices:

  • 1 Spherical zucchini 1.2 kg (here: from the garden of Maria and Arno!)
  • 100 g Flour
  • 150 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 Cup Sunflower oil

Tartarska Omacka:

  • 1 Onion approx. 50 g
  • 1 Pickled cucumber approx. 50 g
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 50 g Mayonnaise
  • 1 big pinch Coarse sea salt from the mill
  • 1 big pinch Colorful pepper from the mill
  • 1 tbsp Milk

To serve:

  • 2 Stalk Parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Fried zucchini slices: (8 half slices)

  • Clean and wash the zucchini, pat dry with kitchen paper, cut into slices (approx. 5 - 2 cm thick) (here with the bread machine!) And cut in half. Roll half of the halved zucchini slices (8 pieces) first in flour, then in whisked eggs + milk and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat sunflower oil in a pan and fry the zucchini slices one after the other on both sides until golden-brown, remove, degrease on kitchen paper and season with coarse sea salt from the mill ..

Tartaska Omacka:

  • Peel the onion and dice very finely. Dice the pickles very finely. Peel the garlic and dice very finely. Put all ingredients (onion cubes, cucumber cubes, garlic cubes, mayonnaise, coarse sea salt from the mill and coarse pepper from the mill) in a bowl and mix well.

Serve:

  • Serve fried zucchini slices with tartaska omacka and garnished with parsley. Save the remaining zucchini slices (4 pieces) for another dish.
