Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks, hard boiled, depending on the size of the eggs you may need to add a third
  • ½ lemon(s), zest
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cookies from my mother’s recipe book

Mix all ingredients into a smooth dough and roll out to about 1/2 cm thick. Cut out cookies using a serrated cutter. Place them on a baking sheet and lightly press into the center with a liqueur glass. Use a fork to prick the circles. Bake the teacakes on the middle shelf of a preheated oven at approximately 160°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
