Fruit tray with yogurt

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 250 g sugar, less if needed
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml yogurt
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 1 can peach(s)
  • 2 packs of cake glaze of your choice
  • 500 ml juice of the drained fruit, alternatively water
  • possibly grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer until creamy. Mix in the yogurt and finally add the flour mixed with the baking powder. Drain the peaches and sour cherries, reserving the juice. Chop the peach halves and fold them into the batter along with the cherries. Place the finished batter on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it out. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 180°C for about 30 minutes. Once the cake has cooled slightly, prepare the glaze according to the package instructions and pour it over the fruit cake. Tips: You can also omit the glaze and spread the hot cake with apricot jam. You can also add two packets of vanilla sugar to the batter beforehand.
