Fruity-spicy mozzarella roll

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of mozzarella wrap(s), 130 g
  • 1 tbsp, heaped wild garlic pesto or another green pesto
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • n. B. Herb salt and pepper, black
  • 2 pieces of mango(s) from the can
  • e.g. chili flakes
  • some basil leaves

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Snack or appetizer

Drain the mozzarella roll slightly and roll it out flat on the work surface. Spread the wild garlic pesto on top with a spoon. Cut the tomato into 6 very thin slices and cover the pesto with them. Season the tomato slices with salt and pepper. Let two pieces of canned mango drain on kitchen paper. Then cut them into 6 small, flat pieces to make them easier to roll up. Place the mango pieces on the tomato slices and sprinkle with chili flakes. Carefully roll up the mozzarella wrap with the seam facing down. Now insert toothpicks into the roll at any intervals, all the way to the bottom. Cut the roll between the toothpicks to create slices. Place a basil leaf on each toothpick. Arrange the garnished wrap slices on a plate and serve.
