Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 375 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g sour cream or creme fraiche
  • 250 g butter
  • 100 g granulated sugar
  • 100 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

for 3 baking trays

Combine the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, sour cream, and butter to form a smooth dough. Chill the dough for 30 minutes. Then, using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 cm. Cut out stars/flowers using a cookie cutter. Place the stars/flowers on a baking sheet. Cover the surface of the stars/flowers with sweet cream and sprinkle with sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for about 15 minutes.
