Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g applesauce
  • 300 g sugar, or 100 g fructose
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g flour (wholemeal)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 125 g oat flakes
  • 3 bananas
  • 3 eggs
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Mix applesauce with sugar and vanilla sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Add eggs. Gradually fold in the whole-wheat flour mixed with baking powder. Mash the bananas and add them to the batter along with the oats. Pour the cake into a ring/bundt pan and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C on the middle rack for about 50-60 minutes. Once cooled, remove the cake from the pan and dust with powdered sugar.
