Garlic bread with herbs

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 baguettes
  • 100 g butter
  • Salt and pepper (amount as desired)
  • 2 tsp basil, dried
  • 2 tsp parsley, dried
  • 1 tsp, leveled paprika powder
  • 1 tsp, sautéed chives, dried
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Halve the baguettes and cut them crosswise, so you have four pieces of each baguette. Mash the butter or blend with an immersion blender until it forms peaks, then add the salt, pepper, basil, parsley, paprika, and chives. Mash the garlic cloves and add them as well. Blend with a fork or an immersion blender until well blended. Spread the butter on the baguettes and bake for 7-12 minutes. When the tops are golden brown, remove the baguettes from the oven and serve.
