Garlic cheese cream

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g cream cheese (e.g. Philadelphia)
  • 6 tbsp mineral water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 pinch(s) sweet paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • basil
  • chives
  • dill
  • cress

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mix the cream cheese with the mineral water until smooth. Chop the garlic or press it through a garlic press and stir it in. Add a little lemon juice and season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Chop the fresh herbs and stir them in. Frozen herbs work too, but fresh ones taste best. Let them sit overnight. Ideal with grilled food, on bread, or as a dip.
