Garlic crumbs with thyme

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g white bread, diced, chopped in a food processor
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 5 tbsp sunflower oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Heat the oil in a pan. Toast the white breadcrumbs, garlic, and thyme over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until golden brown. Let the breadcrumbs cool on kitchen paper. Store the breadcrumbs in sealable jars. Refrigerated, the breadcrumbs will keep for about 7 days. Use them like croutons in salads or soups.
