Spread the love

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 125 g lentils, red
  • 200 ml water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • n. B. spice(s)
  • e.g. coconut oil or cooking fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes

vegan, low-carb

Soak the lentils overnight in salted water (at least 6 hours). Then drain the water. Purée with 200 ml of fresh water, salt, and the spices as desired. Then, ladle a small amount of batter into a hot pan with coconut oil (it will be nice and crispy) and fry. The flatbreads can be used like wraps or pancakes. Tips: You can also make the wraps sweet. Simply add a little vanilla extract. Serve with applesauce, cinnamon, sugar, chocolate spread, etc. Or you can make them savory, for example, by adding herbs and spices such as cumin, pepper, chili powder, or curry powder to the wraps. Coriander goes well with chili and curry. The wraps can also be filled with salad as a meal prep. Approx. 80 kcal per serving.
