  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 1 chili pepper(s), chopped
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 jars of rice
  • 4 glasses of water, warm

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

First, heat the olive oil in a pan and add the garlic. When the garlic starts to sizzle, add the chili pepper. Sauté everything gently without browning. Then add the rice and sauté for about 1 minute. Add the warm water and salt, cover, and bring to a boil. Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes, until the rice is tender. Tip: You can also add grated carrots just before the rice is cooked.
