Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 clove(s) garlic, giant
  • 1 m.-large shallot(s)
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 40 ml cream or milk
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Giant Egg Onions

Peel the shallot and garlic clove and dice medium-sized. If you don’t have giant garlic on hand, you can also use mild or marinated garlic. Add more cloves accordingly. Sauté the diced shallots in a saucepan and add the diced garlic. Be careful not to burn the garlic, otherwise it will quickly become bitter. Cover and simmer for about 2 minutes. Whisk the eggs with salt and cream or milk, pour over the shallot and garlic mixture, let it set, and serve hot with white bread. Tip: It’s even faster if you stir the mixture evenly while it’s setting. Garnish with chives.
