Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 20 large shrimp
  • 60 ml oil (olive oil)
  • 80 g butter
  • ½ red chili pepper(s), finely chopped
  • 10 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 60 ml white wine
  • 3 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Shell the prawns, remove the guts, and leave the tails intact if desired. Heat the oil in a large pan; add the butter, chili, and half the garlic. Sauté for 3 minutes, stirring. Add the prawns and scatter the remaining garlic over them. Fry the prawns for 3 minutes until pink, then turn them over, pour in the white wine, and fry for another 4 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley, salt, and pepper. Serve with pizza bread or baguette.
