Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 beef steaks
- 5 garlic cloves
- 100 ml olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp margarine
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes
Peel the garlic cloves and chop as finely as possible. Combine the garlic and olive oil in a bowl and marinate the steaks. Let it marinate for 1-2 hours. Heat the margarine in a pan until very hot and cook the steaks quickly and thoroughly on both sides. Do not cook for longer than 5 minutes, as this will make the meat tough. Remove from the pan and let it rest in the oven at 80°C for 5-10 minutes. French fries or fried potatoes and a fresh salad are suitable side dishes.
