Gazpacho with strawberries

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 red bell peppers, deseeded, diced
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green, pitted, diced
  • 2 medium-sized cucumbers, pitted, diced
  • 1 kg strawberries, aromatic, diced
  • 2 rolls, stale, diced, alternatively breadcrumbs
  • 0.2 liters of red wine
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, possibly more
  • 0.2 liters of olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, small or large as desired
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Blend everything in a bowl until smooth and chill thoroughly. The flavor is best when prepared the day before and seasoned the next day. Tip: Sprinkle with fresh mint leaves, if desired, or stir in finely chopped mint just before serving. You can also coarsely grind mixed peppercorns and sprinkle them on top when serving, or sprinkle with finely diced bell peppers.
