Germany cake for the World Cup

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 packs of vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 150 ml lemonade
  • 125 ml oil
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 250 g flour
  • 600 g sour cream
  • 600 g cream
  • 3 bags of cream stiffener
  • 400 g red fruit (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, currants, etc.)
  • 400 g dark fruit (e.g. blueberries, blackberries, dark grapes)
  • 400 g yellow fruit (e.g. peach, apricot or tangerines)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

First mix the eggs, sugar and oil. Add the lemonade and 3 packets of vanilla sugar and mix. Now mix the baking powder with the flour and stir in slowly, otherwise you’ll create a cloud of dust. Place the dough on a baking tray and place in the oven WITHOUT preheating at 160°C for approx. 15-20 minutes. While the dough is in the oven, whip the cream with the cream stiffener and the remaining 3 packets of vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form. Then gradually add the sour cream with a tablespoon and continue stirring slowly. When the base is baked, let it cool briefly for 10 minutes and then spread the sour cream mixture on top. Now arrange the fruit on the cake to create a German flag. Of course you can use other fruits and a different flag, it tastes good anyway!
