Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g honey
- 100 g water
- 100 g brown sugar
- 60 g fat (Biskin)
- 300 g flour (wheat flour)
- 300 g flour (rye flour)
- 6 g baking powder
- 1 pack of gingerbread spice
- 16 g baking soda
- some condensed milk for brushing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 20 minutes
for tree decorations or gingerbread houses
Heat honey, water, and brown sugar in a saucepan. Add the Biskin and let the mixture cool. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix everything well with a dough hook. Refrigerate the dough overnight. (It will keep well for a week.) Then cut out large gingerbread cookies, hearts, or stars. Brush with a little condensed milk and bake in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. I always use this to make our tree decorations for Santa Claus, or we build a gingerbread house.
