  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g butter or margarine
  • 150 g almond(s), ground
  • 125 g powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes

…makes about 50 pieces

Set aside 1 teaspoon of gingerbread spice. Make a dough with the flour, butter, almonds, 100g of powdered sugar, and the remaining gingerbread spice. Wrap the dough in aluminum foil and let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Shape the dough into croissants. To do this, divide the dough into equal-sized pieces. Shape these into rolls, thinning the ends. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the croissants on it. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for 12-14 minutes. Let cool on the tray. Mix the remaining powdered sugar with the gingerbread spice and sift over the croissants.
