Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter or margarine
  • 100 g sugar or 80 g honey
  • 3 eggs, depending on size
  • 100 g flour
  • 250 g almonds or nuts
  • 150 g chocolate, grated or shredded
  • 100 g chocolate (semi-sweet chocolate)
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ pack of gingerbread spice

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 5 minutes

for the Christmas season

Cream the butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Fold in the flour, almonds or nuts, grated chocolate, baking powder, and gingerbread spice. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 minutes. Let cool. Melt the chocolate, making sure it doesn’t get too hot (40°C), and spread it evenly over the cake.
