Gluten-free shortcrust pastry – basic recipe

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour, gluten-free
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • 125 g butter, soft

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, combine the flour and cream of tartar baking powder, then mix in the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Next, stir in the softened butter, followed by the two egg yolks and the 2 tablespoons of milk. Press the dough into a prepared tart or springform pan, tucking in the edges if desired. Bake in a fan-assisted oven preheated to 200°C for 15 minutes.
