Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g gnocchi
- 150 g mushrooms
- 250 g bacon
- 2 small onions
- 200 g sour cream
- e.g. milk
- salt and pepper
- Butter, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
a super simple and delicious sauce that goes with many things
Dice the onions and bacon. Fry the onions in a pan with butter until translucent. Slowly add the bacon and let it brown nicely. Add the mushrooms and sauté for about 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Add a little more milk, if desired, and season with pepper. Keep warm on low heat; do not let it boil. Bring another pan of water to a boil, add salt, and cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Drain and toss with the sauce. Tip: This sauce also goes wonderfully with tortellini.
