Gnocchi with chanterelles and sage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g gnocchi (from the refrigerated section)
  • 600 g chanterelles
  • 80 g bacon cubes
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s) (diced)
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 10 sage leaves
  • 30 g Parmesan, grated
  • 150 g crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside. Trim the chanterelles. Fry the bacon cubes in the oil in a hot pan. Add the onion and chanterelles and fry vigorously for 2 minutes. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and reduce for 3 minutes. Add the crème fraîche and reduce until creamy. Finely slice the sage. Add the gnocchi to the sauce. Sprinkle with grated cheese and serve.
