Gnocchi in mushroom, cheese, and ham cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi, from the refrigerated section
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g ham, diced
  • 200 g cream
  • 100 g Emmental or Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Butter for frying
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Slice the mushrooms and onions, and mince the garlic. Fry the gnocchi in a little butter in a pan according to the package instructions for about 10-12 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large pot, sauté the vegetables in a little butter until the mushrooms have collapsed and the onions are translucent. Add the ham cubes and fry briefly. Slowly add the cream and simmer briefly. Season with pepper and a little salt, then toss the sauce into the pan with the gnocchi. Sprinkle with cheese and let it melt slightly in the pan.
