Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g gnocchi
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 80 g cream cheese, natural or e.g. with porcini mushrooms
  • 100 ml dry white wine
  • 150 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the ready-made or homemade gnocchi in salted water until they float to the surface, then drain. Clean the mushrooms and chop them into large pieces. Finely dice the onion. Sauté the mushrooms in a fairly small pan over fairly high heat until they collapse and begin to color. Shortly after, add the onion and the crushed garlic clove and reduce the heat. The onions should be sautéed until translucent. Deglaze with the white wine and allow the wine to evaporate. Add the milk and melt the cream cheese into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper and simmer briefly. Remove the garlic clove. Add the gnocchi to the pan and toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese when serving.
