Goat cheese wrapped in bacon

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 goat cheese – coin, natural
  • 1 slice(s) ham (Serrano)
  • 1 tsp sauce (black pepper sauce)
  • Mixed herbs
  • Oil (peanut oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Serve as an amuse gueule (greeting from the kitchen) or as a starter

Toss the goat cheese slice in the mixed herbs and brush with the black pepper sauce (from an Asian shop). Roll it in the bacon and secure with a toothpick if desired. Sear it all over in a pan with peanut oil and serve with onion confit. I always choose “Dieter’s Onion Confit” from the CK database for the onion confit. Once you’ve tried it, you won’t need anything else! Please note that you’ll need an additional 20 minutes of work time for the confit!
