Goat's cheese bruschetta with caramelized apples

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 slices of ciabatta
  • 150 g goat’s cheese
  • 1 apple, sour
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the ciabatta slices generously with goat’s cheese. Toast on the oven rack for about 5-10 minutes. Slice the apple into wedges. Melt the butter in a saucepan, add the apple slices, and sauté briefly. Add the sugar and continue sautéing the apples until they are golden brown and caramelized. Place on top of the goat cheese. Serve as a starter or with lamb’s lettuce and balsamic dressing.
