Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g date(s), pitted, dried
- 150 g ham (Serrano ham), very thin slices
- 50g Gorgonzola
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Slice all the dates lengthwise, remove the stones, and fill with Gorgonzola. Halve the ham slices lengthwise and wrap each date in half a slice. I always roll up a small piece first, then fold the sides inward, and then roll up the rest. If the ham is sliced very thin, it holds perfectly. Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven, place the dates on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and bake for 15 minutes. The dates will be nice and crispy and very aromatic thanks to the cheese.
