Ingredients for 10 servings:
- 1 kg onion(s), diced
- 1 kg beef goulash (veal leg)
- 6 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp caraway seeds
- 5 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 can white beans
- 1 can beans, red
- 3 carrots, small cubes
- ¾ kg potatoes, peeled and diced small 0.5 cm
- 12 hot peppers, 1 cm rings, drained
- 6 tbsp flour
Instructions

Fry the onion in oil, then add the meat and a little water, and sauté until soft. Now add the paprika, potatoes, and carrots, then add water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes. Then add the rinsed and drained beans in a colander along with the chili peppers and just enough boiling water to make a soup. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Finally, stir the flour and water until creamy and smooth, without any lumps, and add just enough to make a creamy soup. Serve with fresh bread, preferably crusty farmhouse bread, a baguette, or simply rolls.
