Grain bread topped with ham, tomatoes and cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 slice(s) of bread (grain bread) of your choice
  • 6 slice(s) ham, raw or cooked
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 6 slices of cheese (Emmental or Appenzeller depending on your taste)
  • some cream cheese with herbs
  • n. B. spice(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the wholegrain bread on a baking sheet. Spread with herb cream cheese. Top with a slice of ham (cut into quarters if necessary so the ham doesn’t stick out). Slice the tomatoes and arrange them on top. Season the tomatoes lightly to taste. Then place a slice of cheese on top (chopped slightly if necessary so the ham doesn’t stick out). Bake the whole thing in a preheated oven at 150°C (convection oven) for about 8-12 minutes. Note: I calculate 3 medium slices of bread for one person.
