Grandma Anna's chocolate rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 100 g hazelnuts, ground (can be replaced with flour)
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 50 g block chocolate (up to 100 g)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Chop or grate the chocolate block as desired. You can increase the amount of chocolate to your liking. Then, stir all ingredients together, ensuring the baking powder and flour are well blended. Spread the dough evenly in small heaps on a baking sheet. Make sure to space them well so the rolls don’t run into each other in the oven. The recipe’s recipe quantity is sufficient for about 3-4 baking sheets. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat) and bake the rolls one after the other for about 10 minutes on the middle rack.
