Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g butter
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g ground almonds
  • 3 egg yolks
  • ½ orange(s), the juice
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • possibly cake icing or sugar coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 27 minutes

for the meat grinder, but can also be used for cookie cutters.

Mix all ingredients with a dough hook, form into a ball, and refrigerate overnight. Then, using a cookie cutter, pass through a meat grinder. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10-12 minutes. Cover with sugar or chocolate icing, if desired. These cookies will be very tender and crumbly. They taste a bit like the butter pretzels you can buy in supermarkets.
