Grandma's Quark and Apple Crumble Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fat for the mold
  • 250 ml cream
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 kg apples
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

Combine the crumble ingredients in a bowl with a dough hook, kneading by hand if necessary. Place about 2/3 of the crumble into a greased springform pan and press down lightly. For the filling, mix all ingredients except the apples until smooth and pour into the crumble base. Peel the apples, slice them, and place them on top of the quark mixture. Spread the remaining crumble on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 50-60 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes.
