Grate all the potatoes on the large side of a cheese grater. Dice the onion and add it. Add the egg, flour, milk, and salt and mix everything together. Pour the batter into a pan in small portions, form into potato pancakes, and fry until golden brown on both sides. In a cup, combine the milk, salt, and a little vinegar and season to taste. Serve the sour milk with the potato pancakes. Alternatively, applesauce with sugar and cinnamon also tastes good.
