Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 5 minute steak(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms, brown
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 250 g hollandaise sauce
  • 5 slice(s) sandwich toast (American toast)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Soy sauce
  • some cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Baked minute steaks with mushrooms and hollandaise sauce on toast

First, thinly slice the mushrooms and finely dice the onions. Pound the meat and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Brown the meat in a little butter, remove from the pan, and set aside. Brown the mushrooms in the same pan as before and add the onions. Stir in a dash of soy sauce to the mushrooms, then remove the pan from the heat. Toast the slices of bread and place them on a baking tray. First, place the meat and then the mushrooms on the bread and spread the hollandaise sauce on top. Sprinkle some cheese over the sauce to finish. Bake the bread in the oven at 120 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for 10 minutes.
