Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, half and half
- 1 large onion(s)
- 2 kg turnip greens
- 4 m.-sized potatoes
- Vegetable broth, granulated
- Fat
- salt and pepper
- mashed potato powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Remove the roots and coarse green parts from the turnip greens. Leave only the very young green parts on the stems, cut them into small pieces, and wash them thoroughly. Brown the minced meat and the finely diced onion in a little fat and deglaze with a little vegetable stock. Peel and dice the potatoes and add them to the pot. Add the turnip greens and cook briefly until everything is tender. The turnip greens should still have a bite. Season with salt and pepper. If the stew is too runny, thicken it slightly with potato flakes for mashed potatoes.
