Grape-cherry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g seedless grapes
  • ½ jar sour cherries with juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 shot of Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes

Wash and pick the grapes, then puree them with the cherries and their juice. Transfer the mixture to a large pot, stir in the preserving sugar, and add the dash of Amaretto. Cook according to the package instructions, then pour into sterilized jars while still hot and seal the jars tightly. This recipe was created using up leftovers: I had half a jar of cherries left over, and the grapes were too tart for me. It makes a truly fantastic jam.
