Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Wash the chicken breast, pat dry, and season with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a pan and lightly fry the chicken breast for 3-4 minutes on each side. Cut the pretzel stick into large pieces and chop them into small pieces in a blender. If you don’t have one, simply chop the pieces with a bread knife. Brown the pretzel pieces in a pan. Finely dice the onion and garlic, and slice the mushrooms. Remove the chicken breast from the pan, fry the onions, garlic, and mushrooms until well browned. Add the tomato paste, paprika, and chili powder, mix everything together, and let it simmer for 20 seconds. Deglaze with the cream and vegetable stock and bring back to a boil. Pour the sauce into a casserole dish and place the chicken breast in it. Sprinkle the pretzel crumbles over each chicken breast and place two knobs of butter on top. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the stir-fried vegetables. Peel the carrots and cut them diagonally into strips. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips and the onion into half rings. Trim the ends of the green beans and also cut them diagonally in half. Divide the broccoli into small florets, unless you have already chopped them. Boil salted water in a small pot for the green beans and broccoli. For the remaining vegetables, add a little oil to a pan and heat. Add the beans and broccoli to the boiling salted water for about 5-7 minutes. Then drain and refresh with cold water. While the green beans and broccoli are cooking in the water, fry the remaining vegetables in the pan. Finally, add the beans and broccoli. Fry everything for another 3 minutes and season with salt and pepper. The chicken should now be ready. Arrange a chicken breast and some of the vegetables on each plate and serve.
