Great Roll from Tuber

The perfect great roll from tuber recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Minced meat filling:

  • 3 piece Carrots
  • 4 piece Organic eggs
  • 1 size Onion
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Pepper and salt
  • 500 g Chopped according to
  • 4 piece Bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 5 piece Fresh garlic
  • 4 piece Tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper, oil
  • Red chilli flakes, basil

Tzaziki:

  • 400 g Greek cream yogurt
  • 1 piece Cucumber
  • 5 piece Fresh garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • 200 g Grated Gouda

Tzaziki:

  1. The first thing I did was the tzaziki so that it could still pull through. In the original, of course, dill is also processed, but it didn’t fit in here.
  2. Unfortunately, for lack of organic cucumber, I had to peel the cucumber. Then it was roughly rubbed and drained well over a sieve with a Zewa cloth.
  3. Usually the yogurt is also well juiced overnight in a clean kitchen towel over a sieve. We just didn’t have the time because the idea came too spontaneously. So put the yogurt in a bowl and mix well with the cucumber. Salt, pepper and season well with garlic.

Minced:

  1. For the minced meat, the peppers are first washed, quartered, pitted and the white skins removed. Then diced with the Nicer Dicer with the very small cut surface.
  2. Peel the onion and chop it into small pieces. We still have left over from the garlic.
  3. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Chop the basil.
  4. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the minced meat well with the peppers, onions, garlic and tomatoes. Finally stir in the basil.

Potato pancake underlay:

  1. Finally we make the potato pancake pad to roll up. To do this, peel and roughly grate the potatoes.
  2. Peel the carrots and grate them roughly as well. Grate the onion.
  3. Mix everything together and mix with the eggs, nutmeg, salt, pepper and flour.

Ready for the role, go:

  1. Now that the batter is ready, we can begin.
  2. I took the deep drip pan out of the oven so that nothing could spill over. I laid parchment paper in it, a little higher than necessary. Rolls better.
  3. Now the buffer pastry comes on the baking paper and is well and evenly distributed. The oven is preheated to 160 ° C circulating air and the buffer dough is baked for about 30 minutes. It should take color well, but not be too through. It still has to be rolled.
  4. Now comes the minced meat mixture. It is also distributed evenly.
  5. Finally, Tzaziki, also smooth out well.
  6. Now comes the hardest part, which is rolling. If the dough is too through, it is very difficult to roll or not at all. In my case, thank goodness it worked.
  7. The roll is now rolled up and sprinkled with the grated cheese. Again in the oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese is lightly browned.
  8. Take it out and cut it into rolls, put it on your plate and into your stomach, which is already rumbling. It was delicious. Try it out, you will be amazed. I know self-praise stinks, but in this case I just had to say it * grin *
