Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 cups lentils, brown
  • 8 cups of water
  • 6 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Stock paste, homemade or purchased vegetable stock powder
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 hours; Total time approx. 8 hours 10 minutes

vegetarian crockpot recipe with few ingredients

Add the first 5 ingredients to the crockpot and cook on medium for 8 hours. Then season with the stock paste, pepper, and salt. Add olive oil. Done!
