Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g asparagus, green
- 250g spaghetti
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 sprigs of basil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt and pepper

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, peel the lower third of the asparagus, trimming any woody ends and cutting into pieces about 2 cm long. Heat plenty of olive oil in a large pan and sauté the asparagus over low heat, adding the heads about 5 minutes later. Season generously with salt. After about 10 minutes, add the finely chopped garlic and fry for about 2-3 minutes. Drain the spaghetti and fry in the pan for about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste. Pick the basil leaves from the stalks, chop them finely and mix into the finished dish. If you like, grate over some Parmesan cheese.
