Green bean soup with sausage dumplings

Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 2 jars of beans (green beans)
  • 1 kg bratwurst or minced meat, fresh, coarse
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 6 m.-sized potatoes
  • 3 m.-large tomato(s)
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth
  • 2 liters of water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the bell peppers, potatoes, and tomatoes and add them to a saucepan with the drained green beans. Form the bratwurst or minced meat into small rolls (remove the meat from the casing; this isn’t necessary for loose minced meat). Add the water and season with the broth, salt, and pepper. Cook for 30 minutes (10 minutes in a pressure cooker).
