Green curry sauce with beef

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 small red chili pepper(s), very finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp, heaped spice mix, made from curry powder, paprika, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, turmeric, ginger powder, coriander powder
  • 1 tsp curry paste, green
  • 400 ml coconut milk, creamy
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 500 g beef, finely sliced ​​or shredded
  • tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

In a saucepan with a tablespoon of olive oil, first fry the curry paste with the spice mix, then add the onion, garlic, and chili and sauté. Then add the meat and fry. Gradually add the coconut milk and stir. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer on low heat for about 12 minutes. Serve with basmati or jasmine rice.
