Wash the trimmed spinach and lamb’s lettuce with the dandelion blossoms. Put the sliced banana into the blender, add the water and apple juice, and blend. Then add the lettuce in two batches and blend again. Divide the smoothie between two glasses, stir in the coconut blossom sugar, chia seeds, and half a teaspoon of flaxseed oil. The dandelion leaves a very slight bitter note, which is a typical characteristic. You can tone this down with agave syrup or a larger amount of banana. I find the smoothie delicious as it is. Depending on how sweet your diet usually is, it might bother some people. I used almost exclusively organic ingredients, but it works with regular vegetables and fruit, too. Overall, the smoothie is very nutrient-dense and super healthy. A glass of this a day means you can spend the weekend enjoying kebabs and beer.
