Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g green spelt
- 600 ml water
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp thyme
- ½ tsp basil
- 1 tsp vegetable broth
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 80 g butter
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 pinch of paprika powder, rose hot
- 4 eggs
- herbs, mixed, chopped
- herbal salt
- pepper
- chili powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Combine the green spelt, vegetable stock, thyme, coriander, and basil in a pot and simmer gently for 30-60 minutes, then turn off and let it continue to simmer. Finely chop the leek and onion and mix them with the remaining spices into the warm grains. Let them cool, then stir in the eggs; they must not set. Melt the fat in a pan, add everything to the pan, and sprinkle with cheese. Cover and let it simmer gently on the stovetop until the egg has set and the cheese has melted. A salad goes well with this.
