Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour, type 405
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 m.-sized egg(s)
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Cake icing (chocolate glaze) or sugar glaze
  • Grease for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

From my apprenticeship

Cream the butter with sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg until fluffy. Add the sifted flour and baking powder, continuing to beat, while slowly adding the milk. Knead the dough briefly and, using a tablespoon, place it in child-fist-sized heaps on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. Once cooled, cover with icing or chocolate coating.
